LeBron's Rival: The Starbury
I was surprised to find out that LeBron James does not support the release of a cheap basketball shoe. With the release of Marbury's inexpensive Starbury shoe, there has been a lot of publicity surrounding the ultra low 15 dollar kicks. I think this is such a good idea because so many kids want new shoes but can't afford the extremely high prices that some signature shoes cost. Lebron is quoted saying that he can't believe Marbury would endorse such a low priced product and that he would never do this because he holds his standards high. Marbury then responded by saying that at least he is independent as opposed to owned, referring to the endorsement contracts that LeBron James is associated with. Come on LeBron not everything can be about making money. Sometimes it's best to give back to the fans that made you who you are. What do you guys think about James's stance on the Starbury sneaker?
